In addition, until December 3, you can take part in a quiz to test your understanding and win prizes.
Can we influence our brainwaves? Are seaweeds plants? How do emotions affect our immune system? Twelve new information boards along the Max-Planck-Ring loop road invite the public to explore research topics of two of Tübingen’s Max Planck Institutes while taking a leisurely stroll.
The MPI for Biological Cybernetics and the MPI for Biology Tübingen present informative and sometimes surprising tidbits of knowledge on the panels.
Walking along the trail, you can learn about topics and research questions that fascinate the Max Planck scientists in Tübingen and access further information via the QR codes on the signs.
As a special extra, there will also be a Science Walk quiz. Until December 3, 2024, participants can test their understanding of the Max Planck Institutes´ various research areas online and win a prize. Reading the signs on campus will help, of course – and follow the QR codes for extra clues.
For those with a thirst for fun facts but don’t want to venture up the hill to the campus or have mobility issues can also visit the Science Walk website and take the quiz from the comfort of your own home.
